Istanbul Flight Experience

The Istanbul Flight Experience is a fully private flight program departing from Hezarfen Airport that lets you discover a side of the city you've never seen from the sky. Seeing the curves of the Bosphorus, the historic peninsula and the forested areas the city spreads across from a bird's-eye view is one of the most striking ways to get to know Istanbul from an entirely new perspective.

Our flight takes place aboard the Evektor SportStar, a light sport aircraft also used in civil aviation training. With single-passenger capacity, this aircraft makes the experience entirely personal: the cabin isn't shared with another passenger sitting behind you, and you get the chance to communicate directly with the pilot and ask questions throughout the flight.

Hezarfen Airport is a general aviation airfield west of Istanbul with easy access from the city center. After booking, all you need to do is arrive at the field at your assigned check-in time, go through a short safety briefing, and board the aircraft with your pilot — the whole process, including the 1-hour standard tour, is completed within about an hour and a half.

During the Istanbul Flight Experience, your pilot may let you place your hand on the controls at a safe altitude and in a controlled area — a detail that makes you feel like part of the flight, not just an observer. For aviation enthusiasts, it can turn into a genuine 'first flight' experience.

Ideal conditions are also offered for photos and video: on clear days, the Bosphorus bridges, the historic peninsula and the city skyline can be captured clearly.
